General questions

What is Chargd TV?
Chargd TV is a subscription-based streaming platform focused on independent, reality, and culture-forward content. Think binge-worthy shows, movies, and specials you won’t find on the big mainstream apps — all in one place.
How does the subscription work?
You choose a plan, create an account, and pay a recurring fee (for example, monthly). Your subscription renews automatically until you decide to cancel. As long as your plan is active, you get access to all content included in that tier.
Do you offer a free trial?
Free trial availability may change over time. If a trial is active, you’ll see it clearly highlighted during sign-up or on the pricing page. If you don’t see a trial mentioned, then all plans are billed starting at checkout.
Where is Chargd TV available?
Chargd TV is primarily available online through our website. You can watch from most countries, but some content may be region-locked based on licensing. If a title isn’t available in your location, you may see a message or it may be hidden from your library.

Account & billing

How do I create an account?
Click Sign Up or Join on Chargd TV, enter your email, create a password, and follow the steps to choose your subscription plan. Once payment is successful, your account is active and you can start watching immediately.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payments are processed securely through our payment provider (e.g. Stripe). Most major credit and debit cards are accepted. Depending on your region, additional options like digital wallets may also be available at checkout.
When am I charged for my subscription?
You’re charged during checkout for your first billing period. After that, your plan renews automatically on the same calendar day each cycle (for example, every 30 days) until you cancel.
How do I change my plan or upgrade?
Log into your account and go to your Subscriptions or Billing area. From there you can switch plans (for example from Base to Full). Depending on the system, upgrades may be applied immediately or on your next billing date.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to your Account page, open Subscriptions, and select Cancel or Stop auto-renew. Your plan will stay active until the end of your current paid period. You can restart anytime by subscribing again.
I was charged but my account shows no plan. What now?
First, make sure you’re logged in with the same email you used to pay. If it still shows as “free” or “no subscription”, take a screenshot of your receipt and contact support with your account email so we can fix it.

Streaming & devices

What devices can I use to watch Chargd TV?
You can watch Chargd TV using most modern web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) on laptops, desktops, tablets and phones. Many Smart TVs can access Chargd TV via their built-in browser or by casting from your mobile device or computer.
Can I watch on multiple devices?
You can log into your account from multiple devices, but simultaneous streams may be limited to prevent account sharing abuse. If you receive a limit or error message, close any other active streams and try again.
Why is my video buffering or freezing?
Buffering is usually related to internet speed or connection stability. Try:
• Moving closer to your Wi-Fi router or using a wired connection.
• Closing other apps or streams using bandwidth.
• Refreshing the page or lowering playback quality (if available).

The video won’t play at all — what can I do?
Try these steps:
• Confirm you’re logged in and your subscription is active.
• Hard refresh the page (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R).
• Try another browser.
• Temporarily disable VPN, ad blockers, or privacy extensions.

If the player shows an error code, include it when you message our support team.

Content, seasons & access

How are shows, seasons, and episodes labeled?
Shows are organized by Season (S1, S2, etc.), and episodes use tags like S1E1, S1E2, and so on. Special episodes, reunions, and trailers are grouped with the main show so everything is easy to find.
Why is some content locked if I’m logged in?
Locked or blurred content usually means it’s only available on certain paid plans. If you’re on a lower tier, you may need to upgrade for full access. If you believe it should be included in your plan, contact support so we can review your account.
How often do you add new shows or episodes?
New content drops on a recurring basis — including fresh reality shows, movies, and specials. Watch the home page and featured banners for the latest premieres, or follow our socials for release announcements.
Can I download episodes to watch offline?
At this time, Chargd TV is designed primarily for online streaming. If offline downloads become available in the future, we’ll announce it and update this FAQ.

Technical issues & login

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login page, click Forgot password, enter your email, and check your inbox (plus spam/junk) for the reset link. If you don’t receive an email after a few minutes, reach out to support with your account email address.
I can’t log in even with the right password.
Make sure you’re logging in with the correct email (the one you used at signup). If you’re sure the details are correct, reset your password. If that still fails, take a screenshot of any error message and contact support so we can investigate.
The site layout looks broken or weird on my phone.
First, close your browser completely and reopen it. Make sure your phone and browser are updated to the latest version. If the issue continues, try another browser and send us screenshots along with your device model and browser name.
My payment went through but I still see ads or restrictions.
Log out and back in to refresh your account. If it still behaves like a free user, send us your receipt and account email. Sometimes there’s a short sync delay and we may need to manually adjust your subscription.

Privacy & security

Is my payment information secure?
Yes. Payments are handled by a secure third-party processor using industry-standard encryption. Chargd TV does not store full card numbers on our servers. Always make sure you’re on the official Chargd TV website before entering any payment details.
How do you use my personal data?
We only use your information to run your account, process payments, and improve your experience on the platform. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. First, cancel any active subscription. Then contact us with a request to delete your account. Once processed, your profile and access will be removed as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
